Kira Arauz was born in Savannah Georgia. She started dance at the age of 3 and her official Ballet training in the Vaganova style under Marina Levesheva, with many other styles of dance and then completed her training in Royal Academy Dance with exams, levels Three – Advanced foundation. Kira has attended various summer intensive workshops including Atlanta Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and Burklyn Ballet, as well as dancing as a soloist for Burklyn Ballet’s summer performances and as a soloist with the Burklyn Ballet for the Edinburg Fringe Festival. She has had the privilege of working with artist and choreographers such as Joanne Whitehill, Dylan Crossman, Thom Clower, Helen Star, and many more. Kira continues to perform as a freelance professional and was an instructor for Greensboro ballet for six years and a Ballet mistress for three.
